Refund Policy

Effective date:

01First payment: 14-day request window

You may request a refund within 14 calendar days of your first subscription payment. This is a request window, not an unconditional refund guarantee. Provide your purchase email, order reference and reason via paddle.net or support@hearstep.me.

02Review, renewals and payment problems

For discretionary refunds, review may consider the reason, whether promised services were delivered, technical problems and actual private-material processing usage. Depending on the circumstances and Paddle's decision, the outcome may be a full refund, partial refund or no refund. Use does not automatically disqualify you; processing costs are not automatically deducted from legally required refunds. Contact support about mistaken renewals, duplicate charges or material technical problems. Renewal payments are not categorically excluded; requesting review does not guarantee approval.

03Consumer rights and Paddle

Mandatory consumer rights, including applicable withdrawal rights and remedies for faulty or misdescribed services, are unaffected. Paddle's applicable buyer terms, refund policy and authority to decide refunds for its transactions remain in force. Our first-payment window does not restrict other available refund or withdrawal rights. Using the service alone is not treated as waiving statutory rights. For actual Paddle purchases, payment support and refund requests are available at paddle.net. Do not send a full card number, security code or password.

04Cancellation and access after a refund

Canceling renewal stops future renewal charges when effective; it does not itself refund an earlier payment. The confirmation shows the end date. When a full subscription-payment refund completes, corresponding paid benefits and unused processing allowance end. The effect of a partial refund is explained when agreed. A refund does not itself delete learning records.
